Gas Station POS Software

GNXSoft develops and operates its own point of sale suite for fuel stations, built specifically for the forecourt: one system that sells fuel and shop goods, controls the dispensers, prints fiscal receipts, accepts card payments, and keeps every station synchronised with head office. It runs in production at real stations, not as a concept.

Cashier Workstation

  • Fuel and Shop Sales in One Screen. A fast touch screen interface where the cashier authorises pumps, sells shop goods, applies discounts, and closes the sale in seconds.
  • Direct Dispenser Control. The POS communicates with the dispensers themselves: preset amounts and volumes, pump authorisation, stop and resume, and live nozzle status on screen.
  • Shift Management. Operator logins, shift opening and closing, cash control, and end of day reports aligned with fiscal totals.

Fiscal Devices and Payments

  • Fiscal Integration. Native integration with Bulgarian fiscal devices and printers, with receipts and reporting that meet NRA requirements.
  • Integrated Card Payments. Built in communication with bank payment terminals, including the Datecs BluePad 5000, so the amount reaches the terminal automatically and the payment result returns to the POS.
  • Multiple Payment Types. Cash, card, fuel cards, vouchers, and mixed payments handled in one flow.

Back Office and Head Office

  • Back Office Administration. Products, prices, fuel grades, promotions, users, and permissions managed through a web based admin application.
  • Head Office Synchronisation. Two way replication between the stations and the central database, so prices go out and sales come back automatically across the whole network.
  • Offline First. Each station keeps working with its local database when the connection drops and synchronises when it returns, so a network outage never stops sales.

Architecture

  • Modular Services. Separate services for business logic, dispenser communication, fiscal devices, payment terminals, and data replication, each independently testable and upgradeable.
  • Proven Components. Python services, Angular front ends, MQTT messaging, and reliable replication between station databases and head office.
